Your Skills, Our Mission: Volunteer for A Knowledge & Action ROC Committee

Knowledge & Action is growing, and with it opportunities for its members to engage. We’re forming committees to work on specific areas. Our current committees include:

  • Communications: Working across a variety of platforms - including email, social media, and a newsletter - to keep members up-to-date on the actions and activities of Knowledge & Action. Where it’s possible and appropriate, we will also share our members’ thoughts and concerns. The committee is co-chaired by Amy Hatch and Ellen Rosen.

  • Community Building and Support: Fostering a sense of belonging and community among our members. The committee will share information and propose and develop opportunities that will allow members to connect and network, including online gatherings, in-person events, activities, and projects. Some of these opportunities may be organized by Knowledge & Action, while some may be linked with other community organizations. The committee is chaired by Lisa Maynard.

  • Education: Providing accurate and truthful background information on key issues that matter to our members and reflect the organization’s goals of supporting democracy. The committee aims to provide that information through a series of nonpartisan, well-sourced articles, posts, and presentations. Committee co-chairs are Ray Kraus and Sarah Gibson.

Other committees are also being formed, and we will provide more information when they’re ready for members.
